Finally doing this

Posted 09 March 2017 by Christina
So day 7 :) im battling with low dopamine and a general depressed day did some exercise to increase my happy hormones. iv been smoking weed everyday for the past 9 years since i was 14. It has affected my brain its hard to remember things and learn new things. Im excited to start my new life without weed. Hopefully i can reverse the damage thats been done.

So I didn't smoke yesterday and to my surprise I didn't wake up in a pool of sweat like I normally do when I try and quit.

Day 4

Posted 23 February 2017 by Kell
Last night took me quite a while to fall asleep, felt like I was tossing and trying for hours - hot weather deffinately played a part. Today.. I feel fastastic! Body's still obviously detoxing (sweats etc..) but I feel happy, full of energy, alert and life just feels a lot easier. It would be hard to go back now. Pumped!

You made it! Well done! I've been told it takes 30 days to break any habit :) thank you for your encouragement!

Day 3 - PM

I went for an hour long walk earlier. Exercise completely turned my day around - I went from feeling depressed and scattered to feeling super happy and energetic and alert. Total roller coaster of a day!

Day 3 - morning

Posted 22 February 2017 by Kell
Fell asleep much easier last night but woke up feeling VERY tired with dark circles under my eyes. Today I'm feeling quite down in the dumps. I feel weak and shaky and just not myself. I can't concentrate, I stutter when I talk and I can't think clearly. I'm going to go for a walk/run as soon as I finish work and hopefully that will help. Tomorrows a new day!!! Taking it day by day helps I think.

Day 2

Posted 22 February 2017 by Kell
11am - Last night I had a little bit of difficulty sleeping, I tried not to look at the clock but I think it took me about an hour to nod off. I woke up easily throughout the night and my dreams felt so real. When I first woke up I felt fantastic, mostly because I was proud of myself but as the morning progressed I started to feel quite flat with a big headache! Here's to a better afternoon!

Day 1 - Night

Afternoon was not so bad as I made sure to keep myself busy, cleaned the house, dropped Jordis car off at the mechanics, cooked and ate dinner then had a bath. After the bath I started to feel a bit hot/cold and sweaty with a minor headache but no nausea which is great!
